Vaccine Injury

Vaccines are generally safe, but some people still suffer injuries as a result of their vaccination. No medical intervention is risk free. In 1988 the United States Government created the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program for the sole purpose of providing compensation to people who prove they were injured by vaccines. In most cases there must be clear evidence that a person suffered a specific type of injury within a specific amount of time after receiving the vaccination. The types of injuries and time frame for onset of symptoms, can be found in what is called the “Table of Injuries” published by the US Government here. The NVICP will provide compensation to the injured person who meets the requirements of the NVICP. Since 1988 thousands of injured people have been compensated, and millions of dollars have been provided as compensation for their injuries caused by vaccinations.
